• Conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin  Matthew 1:18-23

• Lived a sinless life  Hebrews 4:15

• Died on a cross, was buried, but rose to life again!  I Corinthians 15:3-8

• Ascended into heaven; seated at God's right hand  Mark 16:19

• Coming again  Acts 1:11

The Bible is God's Holy Word . . .

• Inspired by the Holy Spirit without error  I Peter 1:20-21

• Our source of God's instructions for right living and sound doctrine                           II Timothy 3:14 - 4:4

• God's wisdom for abundant living   Colossians 3:16

• And His life-changing message of one saving faith  Romans 10:17

One HOPE . . our hope of salvation (victory over death) has come by the grace of a loving God

• In the past we were dead because we sinned and fought against God   Ephesians 2:1-12

• We were far from God, because of our sins  Colossians 1:21-23

• But God loved the people of this world so much that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who has faith in Him will have eternal life and never really die.                   John 3:16

• Anyone who belongs to Christ is a new person.  The past is forgotten, and everything is new.  God has done it all!   II Corinthians 5:17-19

• This salvation is found only in Jesus Christ  Acts 4:12, John 14:6

The Bible teaches the way each one of us can receive God's gracious gift of Salvation

• Believe that Jesus Christ is God's Son   Acts 16:31-33, Mark 16:16

• Be sorry for our personal sin, changing your heart and mind, turning your life toward God  Acts 2:38

• If you honestly say, "Jesus is Lord," and if you believe with all your heart that God raised Him from death  Romans 10:9-10

• Be immersed in believer's baptism to be born again to live a new life!       Romans 6:1-4

The Holy Spirit is a gift from God to every baptized believer

• Helping us come to know God better  Ephesians 1:17

• Strengthening our daily lives  Ephesians 3:16

• Prays for us when we don't know what to pray  Romans 8:26-27

• Helps us to tell others about God  John 15:26-27

• Shows us the truth about sin and God's justice  John 16:7-14

Our response to God's gracious gift of salvation is a life of faithful, obedient service in His Kingdom as members of His Church

• As God's children, we live a life of love, because He loved us first            Ephesians 5:1-2

• We worship and serve Him daily  Romans 12:1-2

• We are called to be holy people and to be more like Jesus  I Corinthians 1:2,       II Corinthians 3:18

• We are commissioned to tell others about Jesus  Matthew 28:19

• We are members of the body of Christ (the Church), working together to proved care and support for one another as we carry on the work of Jesus Christ             I Corinthians 12:12-27
